In case you're wondering,
we are now a full week into November and the state has STILL not released the scores for the science exam which was completed FIVE full months ago and then almost-completely hand-scored by teachers, including me, on our own time, time squeezed from the school day, or - for the lucky ones - per session time.
I am so completely unimpressed.

4th grade score came in last month.
This year with all of the state tests we may not see results until the next decade.

How can you accept marking the tests on your own time? You and every other teacher should demand per session time for marking state and city tests. Your chapter leader should be in the lead on this. If not your DR should be notified of the abuse by your adminestrators.
oh no, at MY school we got paid, or did it during clerical half days. But at lots of other schools, they grade on their own time.
