Our entire fourth grade celebrated Pi Day. Our math teacher who previously taught in middle school introduced it to us. The kids assembled in the cafeteria and we all counted down to the exact time that reflects the first 3 digits in Pi. We calculated the diameters of pizza and cookies and read the story Sir Cumference. We made color copies of the pages and projected them up on the smart board. It was a great celebration.
