The adventures of a science teacher in a small public middle school in the Bronx. Apologies to Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen, creators of the Magic School Bus series and the original Ms. Frizzle.
hmmm..... glad I asked. on my computer, it's a dark green background with light blue links and yellow headings. I made the change as a complicated answer to some comment spam problems I'd been having, taking it as an opportunity to change other stuff. which parts, specifically, are hard to read? (links, visited links, hover, post titles, all text, etc.) also, why would it appear black on some people's computers & green on mine?
it is smaller.... basically I used a template from blogger and then changed the background color and some of the other colors in an attempt to make it look like the color of my chalkboard. the new font size came from the new template. I guess I could make that a bit bigger. I don't want to play around with the colors for a day or so until I get some advice/feedback on exactly why it is hard to read and which colors are giving people trouble. it is very readable on my (mac) screen. I used hex codes.
I see a rich green background. The writing is not hard to read, but a bit larger might be better. The light blue links make a nice offset from the white. Love the butterfly against the green.

I liked the blue background better.
The color contrast might be a bit too low...
I hope it's just for Halloween - black background with light text is just a bit tough on the eyes.
I am having a hard time reading parts of this.

It's green on mine. But it is quite dark-like black. I like the butterfly.
The text is harder to read. Is the text size smaller or does it just appear smaller?

Help. I have no aesthetic sense whatsoever.
Is the size better now?

I have GOT to learn to do this stuff.
I liked the old one.
The background is dark green on my monitor but it's still hard to read the text, even with the bump in size.
I like it! Hurrah for change! :)
The text size is much improved. However the blue link against the green does not stand out.
You may want to try other bright colors for the links because the yellow in your titles stand out beautifully.
The comment section is also a link and it is a totally different color than the other links.
Maybe we could call this template, "Progressive Green." Hmmm... It does have a certain cachet.
Instead of CCC, maybe a DDD or EEE -colored font would improve the contrast.
On my monitor it's not too bad though.
I like it.
It's hard on the eyes...but maybe that's because my eyes are 56 years old!
I like it. I've been thinking about changing my own template, so this is interesting to watch. I like the typeface too.
