The adventures of a science teacher in a small public middle school in the Bronx. Apologies to Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen, creators of the Magic School Bus series and the original Ms. Frizzle.
Couldn't this have waited, oh, twenty hours from when it started? I could use Monday off.
Also, here's a case of oddball bad luck: both of our snow blowers conked out today, leaving the ~17 odd inches to be shoveled by hand. I don't live in a mansion or anything, but it felt like our driveway stretched to eternity (it took 2 1/2 hrs. to complete). Made me wish I had an apartment so I could look out the window and talk about how "pretty" it all is.
Great photos -- I am intrigued by the third one -- the Gaudi-esque scaffolding. What is it? the news down here said that NYC would be clear by rush hour Monday morning -- was it? Did you have school?
Mr. Lawrence -- We only got 3 or 4 inches here -- but nothing on the streets -- Just lovely snow all over everything, and the streets were just clear and wet.

Burr. You can have it. Here, in So. Calif., it is in the upper 70 - low 80 degree F range.... with sunshine, lots of sunshine.....
Do you get a snow day tomorrow?
NYC hit the jackpot! The news reported that you all had 22 inches + by noon.
Boston is on tap for 18+ - it's nearly 6 p.m., and, I think, still snowing.
Beautiful pics. Hope you've enjoyed the snow day. I know I have. Naps are wonderful.
A SNOW DAY?????
What's that? The NYC DOE doesn't believe in such things. In fact we may have to report 37.5 minutes earlier than usual.
Ms Frizzle;
Where's the picture of the dogsled??

You make it look so beautiful!
Gorgeous snow but I won't tell you what our weather was like here on the Central Coast of California today.

Brrr, what's that white stuff all over the ground?
I love the pictures. We didn't have enough snow in Southern VT for good pictures. Although, the pond racers are out in force.
I should photo and blog that!
